The final concert of the festival held in the Concert Hall of the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra in Sopot will
take place on 9th August. The Sopot musicians will team up with a phenomenal trumpeter - Reinhold Friedrich.
The artist is famous for instantly absorbing the audience and drawing them into the fascinating and little-known
world of the trumpet. We will hear Concert in E major for trumpet and orchestra by JN Hummel, Cassation in
G major KV 63 by W. A. Mozart and Symphony No. 89 in F major by Haydn, as well as the work of Shostakovich's
Concerto for trumpet, piano and orchestra in C minor, Op 35, which will be performed with the
Japanese pianist Erico Takezawa.
The Polish Sopot Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra will play under the baton of maestro Wojciech Rajski.
